Description:

The purpose of the Cooperative Agreement resulting from this Program Solicitation will be to support Your Town: Citizens Institute for Rural Design, a multi-year leadership initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts that responds to the design needs of small towns and rural areas through a series of design workshops. The intent of this project is to help rural Americans learn how to identify, protect, and enhance their main streets, built heritage, cultural landscapes, and open spaces. To achieve these goals, the Endowment seeks an organization with experience in a multidisciplinary approach to assist rural communities, in particular with design expertise in architecture and landscape issues as well as economic revitalization.
